This town has 11 coves and beaches that make up its coast. All of them add up to a total of 16 km of coastline.

It possesses a great number of distinctions and recognitions on its beaches and that makes it an ideal destination for any tourist of the world.

With its fine yellow/white sand and excellent weather conditions all year round, these beaches are the best options for any type of activity or entertainment.

Torrevieja has over 20km of stunning coastline with an abundance of beaches and coves. From beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal clear water to the more adventurous rocky beaches ideal for exploring rock pools. The warm Mediterranean Sea is extremely inviting and lovely for a relaxing swim or some fun splashing around with the children.

Cala Bosque / La Zenia

Many of the beaches in Torrevieja have been awarded the Blue Flag status. With 258m. this fine sand beach has a larger entrance to facilitate the transit of wheelchairs.

The lifeguards who take care of this area have amphibious chair for bathing, adapted changing rooms and bathrooms with shower.

It also has an area of umbrellas for bathers.

Cala Caleta / Cabo Roig

With a length of 385 metres and sheltered by the cove itself, Cala Caleta offers us very pleasant and calm waters.  Bordering the Cabo Roig marina, this cove offers a good view of Torre Vigia de Cabo Roig, declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

Cala Capitán / Cabo Roig

Approximately 152m in length and blue flag. Fine and soft sand cove. The bathing area is separated by a small islet that goes into the sea.  It is a wonderful option as it has lifeguard service in summer, hammocks, beach bar, children's playground and sports.  It also has easy access for people with reduced mobility and parking areas.

Cala Cerrada / La Zenia

A Qualitur Flag waves on this 167m long beach.  Located right next to the Zenia urbanisation, it offers direct access from the N-332 road. A beautiful cliff shelters it from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea.

Cala de Aguamarina

Qualitur and Blue Flags distinguish this beautiful cove. A little longer than the previous ones it has 500m. Located between Cabo Roig and the Campoamor urbanization,

In the surrounding area there is a small reserve of flora that is mixed with a beach dating from 125000 years ago. It joins the neighbouring beach (de la Glea) through a footbridge on the rocks.

Cala Estaca / Playa Flamenca

Small cove of 175m also awarded with the Blue Flag and qualitur. Not very crowded beach and bordered by the promenade. Close to several restaurants and bars, with beach-bar, hammocks and lifeguard service.  Highly recommended for the whole family with a children's playground.

It also has parking spaces for people with reduced mobility and easy access to the beach.

Cala Mosca / Playa Flamenca

Small cove too, 107m. with blue flag. Very curious as it is surrounded by two large groups of rocks that give it an exotic look of bay.  This beach joins with its neighbour through the promenade of Playa Flamenca.

Barranco Rubio Beach / Campoamor

665m of sand form the Barranco Rubio Beach in Campoamor. The longest of all, belonging to the urbanization Campoamor. Its particularity is the reddish colour of the cliff, which offers a contrast of beautiful colours.

La Glea Beach / Campoamor

It owns the Q of beach with great tourist quality, and blue flag.  513m. of length and a surface: 35.910m2. One of the largest beaches on the coast of Orihuela, very accessible beach full of services and excellent equipment.

Being an open beach to the sea, favors the practice of any nautical sport. Located next to different leisure services and hotels, this beach offers everything you can ask for.

Punta Prima Beach

Punta Prima Beach, the northernmost beach in the town, borders its neighboring Torrevieja, awarded Blue Flag, Qualitur and Q for tourist quality.

With a length of 243m. offers a unique service in the area. It has an elevator to facilitate the access to any person to the sand area. Next to the promenade that offers several services in high season.

Mil Palmeras Beach

The beach of Mil Palmeras has a length of 346 meters and is located at the mouth of the Caña de Matamoros, which establishes the border between Orihuela and its neighbour to the south, Pilar de la Horadada.
